Despite the contrary, it felt like it had been a long time since any of us had been in a band.
In June 2014, the brothers Crosson rented a house on an island, and before the boxes were unpacked and the trails behind the house earmarked for forest bathing, Chris and Dan were there to figure out how and what this was going to be. Although the majority of us were humble polymaths, it was clear Lee and Dan were meant for the guitars here, and Dup needed to play some loud drums again to feel sane. Chris was curious about being The Bass Player, and so we set out to get the synapses firing and monads constructed, deconstructed, argued over, and rebuilt again.
These are the best of our resulting creations, recorded in the same cabin that we lived and practiced in. If you listen closely, you can hear the thrushes and at least one predatory fisher.
